- Make photocopies of the worksheet below for pairs of students (Note: 1 A4 copy makes 2 worksheets).

- Ask confident students around the class the following questions (don’t correct any mistakes at this stage):
1. How long is your hair?
2. What do you look like?
3. How tall are you?
4. How much do you weigh?
5. What colour is your hair?
- Tell the students that they are going to practise asking and answering questions about people’s appearance.
- Put them into pairs and hand out the worksheet (1 per pair).

- The students work in pairs to match the answers in the right column to the questions in the left column.
- Once the pairs start to finish, check answers as a whole class by reading out the questions and nominating students to provide the answers.

- Go through some of the difficult vocabulary (e.g. heavy set) and you might like to get the class to brainstorm other words in those sets (e.g. thin, overweight, muscular…etc) and take notes.
