     Stages

Procedure

Introduction

     5 mins

  1. Ask strong students around the class a few ‘daily routine’ style questions (e.g. what time did you get up this morning… etc?).

  1. Arrange the pairs of students and tell them they are going to play a word game. The game is about an English boy (Ryan’s) typical day.

  1. To complete the game, the students need to click on the words in the right order (e.g. click on 'Ryan' then click on 'gets up' then click on 'at' …etc). If they click on the words in the right order they will disappear. If they click on the words in the wrong order, then nothing happens - but the clock will carry on. The fastest contestant is the winner.
